She went to Paris – first as an actress, then to participate in contemporary art. 20 years later, she reshuffled the cards and has lived in Berlin since 1999. Her painterly work has received great attention since the early 1990s and is shown in numerous international exhibitions in museums and galleries. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAXEL RUOFF (*1971, Munich) studied literature, philosophy, and art history in Berlin and Aix-en-Provence. He writes novels and essays, makes films, and works as an editor. In 2020, he was a DAAD Writer in Residence in Birmingham. His novel IRRBLOCK was published in 2021.
