She was the curator of the Dutch Pavilion at the 57th Venice Biennale in 2017 and Curator in Residence at the Oregon Center for Contemporary Art (2021–2022). She is the founding director of the Master in Artistic Research at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and teaches internationally, most recently at Portland State University.
