{"product_id":"78991-northern-lights","title":"Northern Lights","description":"The fascination with the North remains unbroken: vast, impenetrable coniferous forests at the edge of the Arctic polar region, \"white\" summer nights, the long darkness of snowy winters, and the famous Northern Lights exert a magical pull. The Fondation Beyeler is dedicating an exhibition to this global phenomenon, featuring landscape paintings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries from Scandinavia, Finland, and Canada. In addition to works by renowned painters such as Edvard Munch, Akseli Gallen-Kallela, and Hilma af Klint, it also presents paintings by artists who are highly respected in their home countries but, unjustly, have remained practically unknown in Central Europe. Finally, the Nordic visual worlds of Harald Sohlberg, Gustaf Fjæstad, Emily Carr, Tom Thomson, and Prince Eugen of Sweden will be introduced to a broad audience. Other artists featured in the exhibition and catalog include Ivan Shishkin, Anna Boberg, Helmi Biese, Lawren S. Harris, and J. E. H. MacDonald.","brand":"Hatje Cantz Verlag","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50307298853128,"sku":"9783775759151","price":58.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0582\/8948\/8049\/files\/odoo_9783775759151_52faa93c-3f7f-4731-bf36-cb0f990bc4c5.jpg?v=1744269151","url":"https:\/\/hatjecantz.de\/en\/products\/78991-northern-lights","provider":"Hatje Cantz Verlag","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
